David Kronemyer displays his collection of instruments, featuring three very prominent folktek works (center back, left to right): Time Machine (Arius Blaze 2007), Drum Cloud (Arius Blaze earlier work, maybe 2002(?)), and the Insectarium (Arius Blaze and Ben Houston collaboration, 2007).
New work by Arius Blaze. This piece allows for thousands of methods of automated sample fuqwithing. Everything from sample stutters, granulation, modulation and bursts of noise etc. Of course it also doubles as a very sweet dub style echo. The range is insane and could not be captured proper in our short videos. In the videos, for the most part, the patches are set according to what I had been playing with prior. The keys are patchable and each part of the sequence is patchable. Time range is from .005 to about 5.5 sec with a noticably lower quality toward about the 3.5 sec mark. This particular piece has found a home in Austria. More photos and more info here: ariusblaze.com. feel free to email. for sail page here: http://ariusblaze.com/forsale.html.
Just about 5000 in Folktek work laying out and basking in the filth of the studio, most of it preparing to take flight to various hands around the globe. omnichord, subharmonic field, time scape sequencer, micro garden, bug, spray paint and beer
One of the strangest and most out of place folktek works as far as the physical approach. The sound however is monstrous and vast and loaded with possibility. Our documentarian has been enjoying having this in his studio and can't get enough check Big Pauper at http://tokenrecluse.com/
The Micro Garden is an acoustic electronic work taking tiny sounds and allowing an elongation. Controls over a tight delay capable of notated repeats and up to about 1.5 seconds. Custom lamp, custom switch, beautiful custom hardwood box. See all things "Micro Garden" on our blog.
